While the twelfth
is a strikingly beautiful setting for a golf hole,
it is the longest and most difficult three par
on the course.
The green, which
measures approximately 16,000 square feet, sits
at the base of a plateau with abundant specimen
Saguaros as its backdrop. A huge bunker guards
the right side of the green. A lone bunker situated
just behind the center of the green adds definition
and direction to the tee shot. A huge roll bisects
this mammoth putting surface making lag putts
treacherous and difficult to read.
The awesome beauty
of this hole will make it one of the most remembered
on the golf course.
