The short fifteenth has
been designed with alternate greens, creating two distinctly
different tee shots.
The green shot left is
located in a small cove at the base of a hillside. The
tee shot must carry a sandy wash to arrive at the putting
surface. While this green affords a shorter tee shot,
the isolated
putting surface is small and surrounded by boulders,
cacti and the wash.
The right green is located
adjacent to the wash and is precluded in the front by
fairway and three ominous bunkers. This hole, when played
to the right green, is more than 20 yards longer but
has a putting surface which is larger and friendlier
to approach.
The two greens will be
a major topic of conversation.
