The seventh, the second
of the par threes on the front nine, will play shorter
than its measured yardage because of the 30 foot drop
in elevation.
The green has been constructed
on a raised knoll and is surrounded by trees. A group
of boulders at the midpoint of this hole are directly
in line with the putting surface and the elevated back
tees. Two cross-bunkers have been constructed into a
ridge line 30 yards short of the putting surface. Since
the left side of the putting surface slopes gently away
from the player, tee shots not struck solidly are likely
to roll through the green and down into a back hollow.
This picturesque hole
is treacherous with impending obstacles surrounding
the entire green's complex.
