The first hole is a downhill par five
that plays along a sandy wash on the left and has a
generous landing area for the tee shot. There is one
strategically placed bunker on the left that is positioned
near the prime landing area. The second shot has wonderful
long views of the rugged mountains in the distance.
The putting surface is protected on the right by two
bunkers and is located dangerously near the wash on
the left. This rather long five par will provide a birdie
opportunity for intelligent play.
